According to a survey conducted in 2023, 77% of adults in Singapore do not have a Will. There could be potential complications, confusion, and conflict if a person passes on without a valid Will. Even with a Will in place, assets are often distributed to beneficiaries in a lump sum upon passing. There have been situations where beneficiaries may not have the capability to manage such sums of money. Beneficiaries such as young children, elderly parents or relatives, and those who are physically or mentally disabled or have special needs are particularly vulnerable.
Life is unpredictable. There have been many cases where individuals become unconscious or fall into a coma but remain alive.
Come and learn from our speaker:
- few tips on Will making
- How to use a trust structure to protect beneficiaries, and importantly, which type of trust structure suits your needs
- How you can complete your Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) within a day
APFM will be awarding 2 CPD hours for this webinar.
